Early Intervention
Every family wants their children to grow and learn to their fullest potential. All children have the same basic needs. These needs are closely related to the needs of their family. The Threshold Incorporated's Early Intervention Services is a program committed to supporting families as they meet the challenge of helping their children with developmental delays reach their full potential. With that in mind, children receive services in their natural environment (home, daycare, etc.) which allows parents and other caregivers to participate more actively in the interventions. Services may consist of educational, therapeutic or other supports including early childhood education, occupational, physical and speech/language therapy for the child, and/or referral and informational opportunities for parents.

Early Intervention Services recognizes the primary role of family. In working closely with parents and caregivers, the program can support and build upon the strengths of the family. Early Intervention Services can maximize potential for long term independence.
