Adult Day Services
The Adult Day Services (ADS) program at The Threshold Incorporated in West Bend is a multi-faceted program serving adults who have a severe/profound cognitive disability, are challenged by multiple disabilities, or a traumatic head injury. The ADS program is designed to provide alternative day programming for individuals whose capabilities suggest success in areas other than full time supported employment or provide vocational training for individuals who demonstrate the capabilities necessary for community based employment. All individuals in the ADS program are offered opportunities for community involvement and employment. Individualized programs are developed on the basis of the individual's history, medical/physical needs, assessment of abilities, and what the individual says or indicates he/she wants or needs. Programs may be based at the Threshold's facility in West Bend or in the individual's community.

A person's day may include activities in any of the following areas:

Vocational Daily Living Skills Food Preparation
Community Recreation Leisure
Music Cognitive Problem Solving
Exercise Multisensory Social
